❓Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a passport?

Yes! This is an international cruise.

🤝 What if I'm coming alone but want a roommate?

Great!

After registration we'll help connect attendees who are looking to share cabins. While we can't guarantee a roommate, we'll do everything we can to make a great match.

🚪 What if I want my own cabin?

Absolutely!

You're welcome to book a private cabin. You'll simply pay the full cabin cost through our travel agent.

Can I bring my kids?

As much as we love little ones, Rising Tides is an adults-only retreat.

Our goal is to create an environment where attendees can fully unplug, have uninterrupted conversations, and truly recharge. We hope you'll use these four days as an opportunity to invest in yourself and your business.

❤️ Can my spouse come?

Yes!

However, because Rising Tides is intentionally small, spouses who wish to participate in the retreat activities will need to register as full attendees.

👥 How many people are coming?

No more than 30 attendees.

It may even be smaller.

We want everyone to have meaningful conversations—not feel like they're lost in a crowd.

📚 What's the curriculum?

There isn't one.

At least not in the traditional sense.

There are no balloon classes.

No instructors.

No taking notes all day.

The experience of the group is the curriculum.

The people attending are the reason you're coming.

📱 Is Wi-Fi included?

Cruise Wi-Fi is optional but highly recommended.

We'll use the BAND app throughout the cruise to coordinate dinners, activities, meeting reminders, and group communication.

🍹 What about drinks?

Royal Caribbean offers optional drink packages that can be added when booking your cruise.

💼 Is this a business write-off?

Many attendees may be able to deduct portions of their retreat and travel expenses as legitimate business expenses.
